Our Director, Marshall Cheatham

Mr. Marshall Cheatham's vision of establishing The Saints Drumline became a reality in 2003. His passion for youth allowed him to develop a program to keep youth focused and engaged with the art of music by the way of drums and cymbals; providing a positive new outlet that would enrich their lives for years to come.

The Saints Drumline has grown from six kids beating a tune on picnic tables in the park to an overwhelming 40 youths, growing every week. Mr. Cheatham, along with his staff, instructs youth in drumming techniques, music instruction and marching maneuvers. The youth also learn how to read drum music, play various rudiments, instruction on sticking techniques and various rhythmic patterns. Mr. Cheatham strongly supports family, education and the best for each and every youth that he comes in contact with.

Mr. Cheatham and his lovely wife, Mrs. Lisa Cheatham consider themselves blessed to be able to touch the lives of so many youth, support them in their education and most of all show each youth unconditional love.
